I have a semi-only DMR. I choose to sacrifice the quiet operation in exchange for the quick second shot. Intentionally cripplying my AEG to perform like a bolt gun seems silly vs buying a bolt gun....

Real steel M14 stocks have fiberglass upper fore ends. You can get one relatively cheaply through gunbroker.com. No importation issues since it's just a hunk of fiberglass to Customs.

I went with the extra voltage to gain the quickest possible 2nd shot with the idea of trying to engage mulitple targets before getting hosed down. It worked a little TOO fast. P-ha!...
