What connector is this?
I need help, need the name of this connector. The black one
The very left is an Ultra Deans (charger end) The center is the one in question (Battery end) The one on the right are two banana connectors Finally the one on the bottom is the one in question (charger end) I've been trying to find this connector to banana plugs but without results. FYI this is the one Tackleberry (ptw) convert to as its better than Tamiya apparently. Thanks |

Definately NOT a Mini Deans. Looks to me like one of many cheap Chinese knock-offs of a Deans Ultra. Like lemegacool says.....Cut it off and put on a regular Deans Ultra available from your local Hobby Shop radio control center.

Could it possibly be the Traxxas connector? I'm not sure on the dimensions or anything but it might be a logical choice.
I'm not an RC guy by any means but I have heard of this connector and the Deans duking it out like Emacs and Vim so to speak.

k so far this is what I found:
It has been called Mini-T Mini T-Connector Mini Deans Deans T-Connector However, when I search thru the deans product page they only have Ultra and Micro. Tackleberry's justification for use of this over Ultra Deans is simply compactness and similiar amperage capability. Apparently Micro is insufficient. My biggest problem right now is finding the plug for it. Otherwise I will have to rely on him to provide the battery. |

last time I asked at a hobby shop for a mini-tamiya connector that's what they gave me. Although I was always under the impression that a mini-T type was the thing that came standard on almost all AEGs...
