Question Ics mp5 a5

I've heard that the ICS brands ted to have a bad gearbox and tead to brake unless you replace them is this true, cause the ICS MP5 A5 seems to be one of the best and most affordable mp5's out there but seeing as im a noob i dont wanna get the gun and have the gearbox brake on me cause i dont know how to upgrade it i wont be able to use it to its capacity.

Normal ICS mechboxes are fine.. they're just a bit different than standard mechboxes. Like any other mechbox, maintain it properly and it's fine.

I've heard (second hand info here) that the halfbreed (half clear) ICS mechboxes aren't actually as good as the normal ICS guns.

If you're 18+, you can get a halfbreed from one of the reatailers (007, Mach1, etc).

You won't be getting a full black, full metal ICS gun without geting AVed. If your <18, forget airsoft until you aren't.

Half-clear ones. "Cansoft" as some people prefer to call them. They're the kind you can find for sale outside the ASC classifieds.

Do you happen to know if people sell full kits with their guns in the classifieds or do you have to buy the battery, and the charger, etc.

Most you find from individuals often come with batteries, mags, and maybe a few other extras. If it's from a retailer in the classifieds you'll just get the gun and a mag (unless is a china clone, then it wil come with a shitty battery too).
