Hey Tom, u know the logo you made me? Is there a way, to make the white part ACTUALLY white, because when i print it out on a decal sheet (those model decals) the white parts are actually clear and are not visible when placed on the surface of a black wilcox mount. Any ideas?

Yeah, because printers can't print white. You need a pretty expensive printer to print white ink. I could make it grey for you, but that's the best it'll get.

Hey Tom, thanks for the offer, but i rather have it completely white. Any other suggestions you have that I can make the logo? The reason why i used decal paper is because I wanted the logo to look natural, and blended to the background. I can use photo paper or clear vinyl plastic but its going to look unnatural and raised. Any other suggestions you have?

Hey Tom,

So today I went to a printing place and I got them to print a bunch of logos on a label sticker. Here is how it looked:

I got them to print me a bunch incase if I screwed up. What I did afterwards is that I used a sharpened fin xacto knife to cut a small piece and I stuck it on my mount like this:

I think its the best I can do. What do you think?

EDIT: Actually, I redid it. I recut out another one. I used a black marker to color the edge/thickness of the logo so that when u look at it from the side, it still looks black.

you can get the model water stickers that have a white background so they show up in normal printers.

Any chance you could mark the metal peice prisisely and engrave it yourself using a dremel and steady hands? If it does not turn white enough, you can use white ink or the famous crayola method.

Take the image file to a shop that does laser engraving and get them to do it up, then fill the trades white - boom golden.

I tried that using a fine exacto knife.. it doesnt look nice.. i stopped before i made it look worst.. the originaly engravings were so light that the paint i used washed right off and didnt remain in the crevices.
