counterweight in mag

yesterday when i was just shooting at a target the counterweight in the mag came off and now my mag doesnt shoot all the rounds inside without a few full winds. i tried putting it back on but after i shoot for a while it comes off again. usually my mag empties all the rounds with 1 full wind. how do i fix it? any help would be greatly appreciated.
