It means Sold Pending Funds.
It also means that people use way too many acronyms to save so little time. How hard is it to write "sold pending funds" for the newbies out there?

There's a few more that might be useful
BNIB Brand New In Box (Never opened in sealed package) NIB New In Box (I reserve this for things opened to look at but not used, eg wrapper has been removed and product has been oogled at but not used) FS For Sale WTS Want To Sell WTB Want To Buy FS/FT For Sale/For Trade OBO Or Best Offer These acronyms are standard across places like craigslist, the local classifieds, etc. NOTE: My definitions for NIB vs BNIB may be different than other peoples and others may define it as the same thing.

SPF means that someone has spoken for the item with the intention to buy it, and the seller is waiting to receive the funds, either through paypal or EMT or in person. The seller lists it as SPF so that others know it's no longer available. The item is considered sold pending payment. So when you see SPF, consider the item sold.
