Scope problems
In advance: I'm sorry for the poor english.
I have this scope that I got with my first sniper, and I have always had problems with it. As it is now it's aimed a bit to the left of the target, and that is AFTER I moved the crosshaired as far as it gets to the right. I've also tried to swap the places of the mountrings, but it didn't have any effect. Only thing that has worked so far it to ducktape the inside of the rear mountring to adjust for the offset, but as time goes by the tape is damaged and I need to replace it. Anyone have any ideas about what I can do? Just for the record, I've tried the scope with 3 different snipers so it has to be the scope. |

it sounds like a low-quality scope. there is nothing you can really do except to buy a new, better quality scope.

Maybe your scope rings are not aligned correctly.
Make sher all socpe ajustments are at a neutral/middle spot. Loosen the rings from scope then mount scope to gun a little loose but firm and try to aligne the crosshairs with target then thightin all down. Then ajust the scope ajustments untill target is Centered. Let me know if this works for you. |

The way I see it, it's either you mounted the scope the wrong way, or you have a cheap replica.
I'd be curious to know the brand of your scope. When mounting a scope, you should place it in the rings and tighten the screws all at the same time, so they screw in equally. It take some time to get right. If you have those rings with just one or 2 screws on one side, it's easyer.
