G&G,ICS, Clasic Army,TM,JG or ur fav

seeing as how my last gun talk thread got shiped over here to newbie tank ill post here yet again.

wich one do u like best fer mp5 thats works great right out of the box no mods needed for first say 3 games1-3 day games.

and no i dont want a cheap ass gun im thinkin mid to high price range

wich one will last longer before i need to upgrade it?

wich one cheaper to upgrade?

i got a line on a mp5 upgraded fully i do beleave fer 850$ assembled or $600 not but fer $850 couldent i just hit up a AEg shop and get one in person fer cheaper thats brand new? and should last like 1 game at least?

remmber this will be my first gun ever i am thinkin of MP5 think its probly gonna be best fer starter gun for me incase i need to do both indoor and outdoor CQB and none so i will probly haveta adjust the gun to shoot 350 when i do indoor and 400 when i do outdoor. was thinkin of stickin a longer barrel on it after i buy and throwin a mock silancer on it to cover barrel an dmake it look better in my eyes and stealthyer.

so please ask any questions u want of me. call me a noob dun care lol. just please help me

and if u also what were would u suggest i buy my first MP5?

TM will definitly last you the longest without having to upgrade it.

You can wait until you're age verified then check the classifieds.

Classic army non-sportline? Granted it won't last as long as a TM, but when something breaks you usually only have to replace that part, and easier to upgrade because the material and strength of the internals have a higher tolerance than TM. If you want to raise the ROF or FPS of a TM for something like woodland skirmishes, you need to swap more internals than the CA so the mechbox can take it.

From my experience, CA make by far the best MP5. Only ICS comes close to it in terms of its metal externals and attention to detail. ICS would be my second choice.

If you're ok with the 260-280 fps stock TM, then it's probably the most durable, but if you plan on playing outdoors, prepare to either get your ass handed to you by everyone else on the field who will outgun you. Unless you plan on upgrading the spring, then you'll also need to upgrade a bunch more internals to maintain its reliability. But once you've got it upgraded, it will have cost you almost double the price of an ICS and you'll still have a plastic gun.

CA shoots around 320fps, there is no need, it's a good balance between outdoor play and CQB, the only concern is that IMO the MP5 inner barrel is a bit short, but if you buy the SD series, you can fit a longer inner barrel inside that silencer.

My vote is the G&G A5, comes with a reinforced mechbox, a tightbore barrel, shooting 350ish stock. Accuracy on the thing is crazy as well.

**Does anyone know how to get a hold of the age verifier Brian (the franchise) from Sault Ste. Marie. Because I need to get verified and I SUCK at navigating this website.**

ah ok cool. i have a few if ands or buts about sueing a mp5 in outdoor play but im 5 foot 9 140 lbs male and not all that strong lol. so figure the mp5 be easyer to wield and move around trees bunkers etc. my other choice is ak47/74

ya ive had a few people tell me mp5 inner barrle is to short fer outdoor so they suggested i just throw a longer inner in and a silancer on. is the sd series only ones that allow silancers? and longer inner barrels?

the prefix SD's has an integrated silencer, while the prefix A's can use silencers as well, but the SD's look cooler =p. They all come with inner barrels that stop at the tip of the actual outer barrel, and you need to buy a longer inner barrel that extends through the silencer. Well, that applies to the ICS ones anyways. If you get 1 of the prefix A ones, you can still fit a silencer and a longer inner barrel. In the end, it mostly comes down to which one you think looks cooler =D, but the AK series has the shortened versions, the 74's have the S, for folding stock, U, for shortened, and SU for both =D, and the V3 mechbox shell is better at putting up with repeated hits from the spring than the V2, and will last longer, but still, go to a game, hold both guns in your hands first, and see which feels better. I still think the MP5 feels better to use than an AK

Is English your second (or third etc) language?

And the MP5 inner barrel length is fine, especially with a tightbore. It's a submachingun, not a DMR.

There are a few things you need to know

If you intend on getting a gun WITHOUT a clear plastic receiver (upper receiver in the case of the MP5) in Canada, then the ASC classifieds ARE your only option. That's it. No stores sell them anywhere due to their very muddy legal status as replica firearms.

Secondly, yes, there are retailers that sell in the classifieds and have new guns, although new guns of the CA calibre aren't appearing as often as they used to. Chances are, regardless what brand you're looking for, you're pretty much stuck buying used.

Thirdly - in response to "if i wanted to wait that long i wouldent be posting now owuld i?" don't ask to buy guns outside of the AV sections of the forum. It's against the rules and will get you at best infraction points, and at worse a temporary ban.

As for the barrel length, the MP5 is fine. My custom MP5 (built on CA externals) has a standard length barrel and I can easily hit a man size target at 125 foot ranges without a problem.
