Dboys M4

well... Ive been having some problems with my Dboys M4 and its pretty much been like this since i bought it. the thing is crap at feeding BB's into the chamber and when i shoot it, to get a better feed, I actually have to hold the mag forward to get the thing to feed properly and at one point, just suddenly it started making this honorable noise like something is grinding something inside the gun... I only have one guess as to whats wrong with the feeding problem and that is the little tube that comes out of the hop-up and connects to the mag is on a bit of a angle, and when it started to make that grinding noise, I just dis-assembled the gun and re-adjusted the hop-ups position inside the gun... do any of you guys have any idea as to what is wrong with the gun:banghead:

thanks

Change the hop-up? Try other mags?

I've already tried different mags and still, the same problem so I guess I'll change the hop-up and see what happens... any recomendations as to what kind of hop-up I should be looking at.

thanks

Check that your Hop-Up is seated properly.

did you takes the gearbox apart? if you put screws in the wrong place in the mechbox case it will cause the whole thing to be out of line and the hop up will not be straight. A worn tapplet plate will not pull back the feeding noosle enough and cause mis feed. The grinding sounds like the alignment of the motor to mechbox. sounds loose and needs to be tightened. check to see through the magwell that the mech box is straight and exactly in the middle of the metal body. if not there is a reason why and you must find it. hope this helps.

actually that did help, I checked the magwell and you were right, the mech box wasn't exactly straight and also when I was re-adjusting the mech box i adjusted the hop-ups placement and when I put it all back together it shot way better and fed WAY!!! better. so thanks
