missfeeding mags
Good day all, i have an M4 from King Arms and i have star mags , all are 30 rounds mags, and they are all missfeeding.:banghead:
Now here is my question , should i use only king Arms mags or is there something i can do to solve this issue . thank you for your help. Super 6-1 , Tacktik contractor 2IC Montreal |

Look at the top of the mags, you see that little spring-loaded clip that holds the BBs in? Cut or file off 0.5mm of it, that should fix your problem.

I had the same problem with my KA and STAR mags. The fix below works with both brand of mags:
To do this modification, I used a sharp, fresh new x-acto-blade for each mag and sliced a small amount off the feed-lip, then did a test to see if the mag was feeding properly. If it was still not feeding well, I would slice a little more off the lip. Hope that helps

be sure that you don't slice too much otherwise it won't hold BBs then you need to replace it. I fixed all mag within this solution.

This question has been asked at least a half dozen times over the last year...and the solution seems to have been written up (with pictures/diagrams/etc...) at least as many times.
Perhaps they should be combined and stickied as a solution? |
