MP5K minor Selector Issue

Hi all,
I have a TM MP5K I'm getting a metal body kit for, and I figure now's the time to try and fix a little issue that's been bugging me, especially since I got one of the CA KA3 lowers. The issue is that the fire selector is off the mark, causing it to sometimes fire in safe and the notches to not line up. Do I just need a new selector plate, or do I need to open the mechbox and fiddle around in there? I figure this is a pretty common problem, but I couldn't find any definitive help online. Thanks for your help.

Yes, i.m.o. you need a new plate.I had the same problem and solved it by carving the plastic on the selector plate where the trigger meets the plate in safe position.
It still feels a bit squishy but the safety holds and stays off.

if you find a new selector plate, tell us where, thx!

Hmmm...I was afraid of that. Does the MP5 selector plate work, or is there a K-specific plate? Googling hasn't yielded anything for me. Also, I'd still like to hear others' testimonials about this.

Hmmmm... but would another V3 selector (such as G36) work? I mean, I find it hard to believe that noone has MP5K selector plates. It's such a popular and much copied model.
