Kraken issue's yay
So my buddy buys a kraken.
it fails at firing. At first the piston wasway to globbed with greese to move. i fixed that. so after opening the mechbox retiming swaping for new parts andputting it back together. it works fine. so i slap the gun together. another issue. is seems the air is going more into the mag then pushing the bb's. i dont understand it hence why im here... help? EDIT: go it to work part of the piston wasnt in right. (little part that moves outside of the gearbox) Last edited by 15thKnight; March 1st, 2009 at 14:40.. Reason: fixed |

I dont quite understand your post, but ill try to respond the best i can.
with the air nozzle in its forward position, which is the firing position, it is pushed past the feeding tube(where bbs from the mag travel into the chamber). This means air cannot, for the most part, escape out of the tube because the nozzle (where the air shoots out) is actually passed the tube itself. If you are really sure air is leaking out the feeding tube, then i would be taking a good hard look at your tappet plate. (thats the long stem in your gearbox that pulls the nozzel back after every shot)Perhaps you didnt install it correctly. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE TAPPET PLATE SPRING INSTALLED!! if that spring isn't there, it will stay in the far back position. If the tappet plate is cracked or the spring isn't there then bbs might actually push themselves infront of the nozzel from the power of the mag spring, but there is no tappet plate to push the bb forward into chamber causing massive ammounts(if not all) of airpower to excape out the feeding tube. what symptoms do you see? Do bbs come out at all with a low fps? Do they just roll out of the barrel? Do no bbs load? |
