KSC GLOCK 19 - Broken Outer barrel.
Hi all, I have a KSC GLOCK 19 heavyweight version with upgraded aluminium slide and metal outer barrel and the out barrel was broken, why? I don't know.
I glued the two parts back togetter using JD-Weld ( dry for 2days) and all looked ok. Have not tried using it with gas but it was started to crack again with in 2 days of just pulling back the slide. I am going to purchase replacement just have to find one. Any ideas why it broke? Thanks for looking |

Asking why it broke is rather like saying you lost something, someone asks "Where did you lose it?", and you say "If I knew where I lost it, it wouldn't be lost, would it?"
Unless you know the brand of the metal slide/barrel, you are kinda SOL and will have to buy a new set because not every outer barrel/slide combo works together. |

It is a known problem... I am presuming that your purchased the gun used?
if so .. it was well used I have had 4 break this way after thousands of rounds.. they start to form stress cracks .. and eventually the just break gluing it won't work .. you need a new outer barrel
