Painting a CIRAS?
Hey,
So I got into thinking I wanted to switch from an Phantom / Pantac OD CIRAS Maritime to a CB one or something similar and I'm way too poor to just buy another. My question is has anyone ever painted a vest before? Would basic fabric paint work or do I need something more heavy duty / am I just wasting my time... |

Yeah it can be painted.. but it will look painted .. and overall .. crappy better off to sell the one you have and put the money towards a CB one

I agree, don't paint it unless you want it to look painted.
Sell your old, add a few bucks then buy a new one. |

I suppose you could consider dying it. Although it is messy and results can sometimes be poor.

Please don't paint it. I have one. They're too nice.
Just sell it and buy CB. Huang's CB is supposed to be pretty nice.

I have one of Huang's CB CIRAS'. It's a nice vest and a good deal.
