My aftermath broxa isn't shooting accurately...

Hi, I came to this forum hopefully to get my problems solved.
I have recently bought an Aftermath Broxa from airgunsource.com and have noticed the gun isn't shooting accurately. The bbs always fly over to the right even after i adjusted my sight.

I got a video to show what is happening, but it is uploading.

the hopup unit installed on this gun is the worst ive seen. Try using .25 or .28g bbs it should make your groupings tighter. other than that, i would say you should have gotten a kraken instead.

That still wouldn't solve the problem of the inconsistent backspin. They every so often fly really high or really low.

If the hopup unit is TM compatible then I'd say get a new one.

Your inner barrel might be lightly skewed to the right. If there's enough room, simply put a small piece of tape on the right side of your inner barrel to shim it back towards center.

I'm a newbie so I may find out I'm clueless. Everyone jumps to blaming the internals, could it not be the sight that's misaligned??

There is nothing outside of your gun that will affect that, and i doubt its a sight problem, Usually, due to the poor quality of those AEGs, before shooting them you have to check some stuff, (clean the mechbox (too much grease), change the hopup rubber (wich is in most case a POS) and ya sometime you'll have to realign your inner barrel...)

We were there before you so we know what's wrong with those AEGs...

But if you start with a good platform (CA, VFC, Star, G&G...(at least JG)) you wont have that kind of problem... (I didnt mention TM because you usually need alot of upgrades to get them to shoot well and because they are expensive)

Sorry Airsoft is an expensive sport....

Wind, Sights misaligned if you are using them, heck even holding the gun wrong can all affect the direction of the bb's

I know TM is one of the best brands, for quality and all that, but it requires alot of work and money to make it run properly

and I learned all that with my guntech....and also read alot on ASC!

Is this guy banned already??

Anyway, I have the Broxa and I find that for the price I paid for it, I can't say anything better about it. Good weight, solid feel, reliable performance, etc. even in the winter. I have had no problems gaming it and have made lots of kills. Another buddy has the same experience with his. You must have gotten a dud, which sucks.

I don't think that the hop-up is compatible with TM rubbers (the only thing on it that's not TM compatible). I'd suggest what I plan on doing to mine: changing to a good quality hop-up and a tightbore barrel. You'll hit your target every time.

Anyway, that's my $.02

Bloodsport didn't say anything about wind. What you're talking about is consistancy, not just things effecting accuracy. Providing the wind is constant, BB's should still be more or less consistant.

TM's run perfectly out of the box. How many other brands can you run for several years stock with little to no issues? What do you find is "wrong" with them? And don't say FPS... every newbie thinks any gun with less than 350 FPS has a "problem", even if it explodes after 1,000 rounds. TM guns perfrom well, consistant, accuractly, and are reliable. I don't see an issue. Hell, if a newbie can afford it and they don't want to mess with internals, I and everyone else will always recommend a TM. If to you a TM has "perfromance problems" it's the shooter that needs work, not the gun.

Yes, it can be hard to compete with sub-400 FPS guns all shooting .28+ BB's in woodland battles. But the TM still performs great if you use it right.

This isn't a flame, but maybe you should read more.
