CA36K jamming
Hi all, having a problem with my gun. On occassion the gun will just stop shooting. It sounds like a jam because i can pull the trigger and hear the motor try to turn but it then stops. Also i think i burnt a fuse in the process of continually pulling the trigger caused by the jam. I am also using .12g for the moment as that was all i could get;this could be the problem. Took the gun apart and nothing broke; sounds like something to do with the feeding. As anyone had the same problem and found a fix. thanks for any help

Probably your battery that is in bad shape.
Feeding is not related to mechbox jamming. |

The battery is fine and i check out the gun to find there is no jamming problem. I posted on other forum that can up with by problem exactly. Its something to do with the trigger contacts or something. Anybody know of a fix besides giving my gun a smack.thx

If the internal contacts are worn, you will have to change them.
Otherwise, you will se on the left side of the mechbox, there is two metal tabs that connect to the selector plate. A simple mod I do to most G36s I get is to flaten them and solder them together. This is there only to act as an extra electrical "Safety". I case you manage to press the trigger even with the mechanical safety on. It also causes troubles with Semi/auto and sometimes that little mod allows guns to run off cheaper/smaller batteries. If the contacts inside "look" OK, but you still have problems, try to squeeze the two tabs together a little. Sometimes they are too far apart and the trigger block is not connecting both at the same time. |
