tips on gearbox assembly

Ok, i put my upgrades in and everything is in postion and fits, but i cant get the gearbox to completly close... the gears are jammed and do not spin aswell. Any tips on putting it together? Getting pretty frustrated.

but its the same gears that were originally in there... i just replaced everything but the gears. Is it still a possibility?

remove all the shims and try again

Pop out the bushings from the upper side of the meachbox, put them on the gears, makes reassembly a fuckload easier and you don't have shims falling off either.

+1, when you shim your gears, you want a little bit of play when you close the mechbox. test your shimming be putting in your 3 gears, close the shell and spin the sector gear to see if there is binding. this is a maticulos process so take your time. like zone said, check out mechbox.com. if you have any more questions, feel free to pm me, and i will make a video for ya.
