Headset
Just curious, has anyone thought of taking electric hearing protection, and just drilling a hole in the side of them and placing a boom mic in them and bondoing it smooth?
This is what I mean hearing protection// |

also whats the pointof having the mic, what are you gunna do pretend to talk to someone. its not going to magically receive communications. its like taping a laser pointer to a cats tail. a fun idea but inevitability useless

no what i meant was, having a headset bondoed in so you can send and receive transmissions. they are connected to a radio of coarse.

that implies that someone with half a brain asked a question. if i put a bullet in a slingshot does that make it a pistol. what good is slapping a boom mic on to hearing protection gunna do? its not going to receive anything.

Geeze guys all he wanted to know if its been done, no need to be an asshole about it. If you don't have an answer then gtfo and don't reply.
I saw a fellow who did it and it look okay, but I don't think it would a great idea, practically. You would probably have a hard time hearing things around you, like bb's and such, but whatever floats your boat. Quote:
