Question Which Mask?

So I have narrowed several masks down to 2. They are both inexpensive masks that serve the purpose. They are both paintball masks.

One is the V-Force Vantage Pro

The V-Force is $26.95
http://www.paintball-online.com/pain..._GGVVP_BLK_423

The other is the JT Elite Radar

JT Elite Radar is $24.95
http://www.paintball-online.com/pain...ck_prod_GGJRAD

Which one should I get. I am leaning more towards the Vantage for looks... but any advice would be appreciated.

::EDIT::

Is it a better idea to go with an actual army helmet and just buy goggles? I am just worried about getting hit under the nose and other exposed areas.

if you plan on using your iron sights than neither, the mask hits the stock and you cant line up a shot. get a pair of ESS goggles, and a belaclava(sp?). getting shot in the face doesent actually hurt that much anyways.

Depends how it fits, and how you play with it.

Also "inexpensive" will make your teeth and eyes "expensive".

Or worst where you cannot replace your eyes.

Most people wear ANSI-rated tactical goggles for airsoft, although some paintball fields will require paintball goggles / mask for insurance purposes.

The only other facial thing to worry about is your teeth. A balaclava or even just a mouth guard will often be enough if you're concerned about being shot in the teeth.

I owned a V Force once, great vision ability and most of them will hardly fog.

Go down to a local paintball shop and see if they'll let you try them on.

Ok ... I just saw a few youtube videos and saw people wearing the paintball masks that is why I figured I should wear one of them... and also the ones walmart and that sell are similar to piantball masks but are the airsoft lighter versions (which look cheaper)

So then getting ESS goggles is the way to go? Does it really matter what ESS intended them for? Like the vehicle ... and the fire rescue... ones?

http://www.opticsplanet.net/ess-goggles.html On that website I am looking at them... any particular ones that are decent... I do not have much money right now so I am looking for $50- more or less something around the $30 mark of the masks.

Oh God, you don't understand, the higher you pay, the less risk you'll lose an eye. The less you pay, the higher risk you'll be blind.

The Vforce ones are more comfortable, and have a narrower cheek area than the JT ones. The JT ones are a "cheaper" model in their line, and I find that the nose foam area isn't a very good fit (for me anyways).

The local fields where I live now require paintball approved goggles for airsoft, tactical ones aren't allowed.

I just figure if a paintball mask at the price of $25 can do the job and most people are buying them... why spend another $80. The only reason why I swapped over to looking at the tactical ones now was because they look better and because I was directed towards them.

And if as previously stated some arena's are only allowing paintball masks... is it not wiser to go with one rather than tactical goggles?

Here is what I am thinking...

Buy either:

MASKS

V-Force Vantage for $26
OR
JT Elite Radar for $24

OR

TACTICAL GOGGLES

priced under $50
something like this: http://www.opticsplanet.net/ess-tact...l-goggles.html

What should I do?

How about a SYKES Airoft mask with some Paintball goggles? Near perfect cheek weld IMO.

Hah, if he can't pay over 50$ for goggles, he won't pay 60 for the Sykes mask. IMO, Sykes masks are fucking awesome!
