TM Hicapa Limcat Comp 7" IPSC Gun

Hey
My hicapa just went for a complete overhaul after the 2 tone infinity mod that I did earlier.

Parts list.
SD Black Limcat Comp slide
SD Compensator Outer Barrel Chamber
PDI 7" 6.01 Tightbore
Nine Ball Airseal Hop packing
Airsoft Surgeon Speed Blow Back chamber
WE Magwell
Panorama Red dot sight

I also did some custom modification as well.
The underside of the trigger guard has been filed down. This is for me to hold the gun at the highest grip close to the barrel as much as possible.
The magazine opening on the grip has been filed also. To allow for smooth loading .

It may not look so great but it works.

PDI Red jagged trigger is coming. I think I will paint the scope mount black when it does.

Hope you enjoyed it.

Very nice! Can't wait to see it shoot tonight.

In contrast...my beat up piece might just hit the cardboard if I can get my mags fixed in time!

Looks great! Do you plan on changing the grip later on? You should try short stroking the gun, you'll be surprised how fast it makes the gun.

Thanks for the comments! :>
I don't think I'd change the grip. I like the capa grip.
As for short stroking. I'd like to experiment with it but people are saying if I'm using propane and enhanced spring, I won't be able to pull the trigger fast enough anyways.
So I have a new trigger coming. Going to mod that so it is adjustable, and after that if I feel that the slide needs to be faster, I'll get a short stroke spring.

You'll be able to pull it fast enough. The setup in my Executive is a King Arms 150% recoil spring, Proud buffer stroke stroke spring on a Firefly guide rod with bearings. Using propane its ridiculously fast and I'm still able to pull the trigger as fast as I want. With a lighter and shorter trigger pull, I can get super fast double taps.

The primary bottleneck will be the trigger. Until you shorten the pull and/or take up any slack, return to battery speed won't be an issue - the slide will cycle faster than you can keep up.

Why? Armen was respectful about it.

I'm not a comp enthusiast either when it comes to the 2011, I prefer tactical or bare bones look. But I must say I DO like that compensator .

A suggestion I'd make is this:

There is a black version avail as well. It would clean up the two holes in the bottom of your existing frame, and allow a clean look for tossing on a tac light when/if you need it.

Heh that's okay. I know this kind of look isn't everyone's cup of tea. :>
I have several pistols that have the bare bones or real steel look. I just wanted my capa to have this IPSC race gun look this time.

-Drecheous, Yes I did have that once. Before I decided to change it.

So yea took this to CAPS event today..
Performance isn't as good as I hoped. Still more things to figure out.
SD chamber and slide combo is apparently flawed. Causing the slide to jam often. Illusion and Madmax has figured out a solution for their gun. Gonna work on mine.
RDS was not zeroed in at the optimal distance. I zeroed it way too far away. which stopped me from finishing the round at the first time.
It's gonna be interesting trying to figure out a way to eliminate those problems.

These types of guns are for IPSC style competition. The sights will help with faster target acquisition. These guns are definitely not for skrimishing. Holsters are different too, they are designed only to hold the gun by the trigger guard. I use a replica CRSpeed WSM holster and there are others out there like the ghost holster.
