My almost complete AK-103 (not 56K friendly)
So I splurged on another AK. No surprises there. The build is almost nearing completion.
External parts: Cyma CM.031 base Element AK-74 metal body King Arms metal front end kit ICS steel ribbed top cover ICS bolt carrier ICS trigger guard MAG AKM bakelite RS German flip-up AK night sights RS SKS sling Internal parts: ICS gearbox shell ICS gears ICS metal bushings Guarder SP110 The rest is Cyma (including barrel/hop) Refinishing: Since this model AK is not blued by the Russians, I decided to keep the stock flat black paint, but since the real one's is fairly glossy, I polished mine to some extent to try to match that look. Came out more authentic then flat black anyway. Things need to be done/bought/changed/etc: Some black polymer 7.62 mags Smooth top, but flared top cover TM or clone gearbox shell (ICS won't mesh well with TM clone hopup, resulting in 150fps instead of 400) Element bearing spring guide Another stock (to replace the broken one), but it's not that important. On with the pics: Can't end it without some gay gear pose, I mean c'mon, it IS ASC, ain't it? Heh, that'd be all for now. Thanks for lookin'! Cheers, Alex

Thanks gents. AN-94 is not like this build, where you just put a bunch of parts together and then work from there, everything has to be custom made, or from a parts kit (good LUCK finding one, anywhere in the world).
Kos, you don't know where I li... ah damn it. Fine, they're yours.

Yeah, it's my AK thread trademark:
Thanks for the comments guys. There is a lot less work in this AK then there is in my AKM build (for which a big update is coming, the package I've been waiting for for almost a month, finally hit up my local sortation plant, hopefully here in a couple days). I still prefer wooden AKs, but this polymer look is starting to grow on me.
