G&P Loose body
I have a G&P M4 Special forces, awesome gun, except the body is loose and you can see the between the crack in the upper and lower body. I tried a bit of tape, it tightened it a littel bit, but not as it should be.
Anyone else have the same issue... and idea's on how to fix the problem ? Thanks

Does it have the upper body clips to hold the two halves together? Not sure if its G&P that done have it or what not...
My SR has the same deal, but doesnt really bug me, still sturdy and unless I wack the front end off something it wont come off during the game. Im sure if your going for looks and appearance, nice shiny gun it looks like, it would bug you.

It has two pins... front one is easy to pull out. I have a TM SR16 that is tight as hell. As for the M203.. mine is tight...fits the RAS nicely. Except the stupid trigger guard broke.

yea it has the two body pins, but does the upper have the 2 clips that come down and the rear pin goes through to hold it all together... Because if the top is a bit lose, either the body is mis made, or those clips are broke or non exist.

Yeah no clips. Once you pull the two pins.... the upper slides right back and off.

Just bought a G&P m16a4 (bnib). Was surprised that the upper receiver is loose (sideways) to the lower receiver. The front metal pin could be easily pushed by my thumb. The part (hole) where the upper receiver mates witht he lower receiver need more metal. I think G&P has this flaw during the manufacturing. I will post picture of this later.

And finally, I had a remedy! Just like zone 69 had said, I cut two small strips of electrical tape. Inserted it through the hole of the lower receiver. Stick it and fold both of its end to the side. Then mate the upper to the lower receiver and put the front pin. No rattling, not sloppy metal receiver.

Hit and miss is pretty much what it it... It's purely cosmetic. I've never had any issue with functionnality.
