Jeep -works

The jeep works , but it is not a game piece it just gets stored there. The little car works and gets used quite often. There is also a blue P/U that has been used as a static prop.

It looks so barren this time of year, the ferns are all down and the rest of the light vegetation is gone. We are going to do the summer version of this video a little later this year to highlight the difference.

The field owner is always adding stuff and making changes, so it changes fairly often.

The field works out to about 140 X 110 Meters, so it is not huge. You can get about 30 players in the summer and have good games. Winter is a little tougher, but 20 or so is a reasonable number.

In the late spring through to late fall the field shines. Heavy dense vegetation, soft ground we have had 2 x 10 man teams go for 20 minutes before 1st contact.

Click for field outline

In the the outline above the foot shaped piece at the top is available but not generally used. So it is not included in the measurements. We have another space available across the road, but a large sow black bear is in that area so it is a little iffy.

i believe dirtbag has 4 tac/sims planned for the 2008 season. register here to keep an eye on the subject.

http://www.gallantent.com/forum/index.php?

coolest part about holding tac/sims at bigfoot ( 2 so far ) is that the buildings and surrounding area have lighting. they are just bright enough to cast some illumination on the area and not bright enough to give you away.

here's an idea of what bigfoot field loooks like at night, these are just my regular wed evening game vids.
