Marpat
First off, don't reference me to the top of the page I was not born yesterday (its been 3 days now!).
I am looking for personal opinions, where would you buy issued or great reproduction marpat? Also, what repro-brand(s) have a good looking pattern or construction design? cheers |

Buy issue MARPAT. You can get it on e-bay, or try Mark at A&A. I got some issue stuuff from him this past spring, and there'e no comparison between issue and clone. And I've had alot of clone stuff over the years.
If you like an issue-grade material, you can also try Brian at Drop Zone Tactical. He makes custom BDUs and the quality is always very good.

I bought issue here on ASC and I have yet to see a clone that I can't pick out instantly, issue is far better quality. It can also be kinda hard to get a hold of, I tried eBay for a while and had no luck finding my size because the stuff is in such high demand, lucked out with an ASC sale.

I got a set in Canada (like new) for $70 shipped, and a used (but in excellent shape) off eBay for just under $80 after shipping and duty (18% duty, fuckers... the idiot identified it as "women's clothing"). The only civilian stuff that's a match to issued is Propper's (they're also one of three companies making the issue MCCUUs).

I paid $160 for an issue set, brand new. E-hobby will be clone material. There are no clones that are even really close to the real thing. I have 3 clone sets currently, a Drop Zone set, and issue set and I've had Tru-Spec in the past.

The difference is after 3 years of use, my issuemarpat is still going strong, and though faded looks like Marpat. After less than a year, expect the colours of the clone to be closer to ACU than marpat.

No, but I've heard a lot of good feedback from people who have.

SEALs Action Gear has MARPAT. It's not issue, but it is the real pattern as far as I know (has the Marine insignia in the design, which I'm led to believe identifies it as the real-deal). About $80 for the entire BDU top and bottom I think.
