OOOPS...I dropped it, WE Hicapa Dragon 5.1

Accidentally, I dropped my WE Dragon & the grip broke at the mount screw...only on one side though, but it is very loose & the mag is sloppy inside when inserted! Where can I find a replacement part for this model & are there any other manufacturers that may be compatible with it? I would like for the replacement to be metal instead of plastic ! Looking for some input....

Google or you could possibly phone the company and say you broke that part. They might send you a new piece for a fee.

I'm just wondering if a Shooters Design grip would fit? They say it will fit SV & TM 5.1 Hicapa models but I can't be sure they are compatible! If I was to order this, would it be considered a restricted item? It's made of plastic...

Wow, with all the false advice you've given across the board, it's now blatantly obvious that you have minimal to NO experience with airsoft. You should probably stop while you're "ahead"...

Shop around man! You'll find somthing! Hey maybe looking to a textile machine shop, you could get custom grips done. It will probly be pricey and well unless you know the guys at the shop maybe its not a good idea to follow through on that. Theres gotta be something on the retailers somewhere for a metal grip. Good luck man, happy thanks giving.

Metal grips do not exist for the 2011 series. It's a formed one-piece lower frame/magwell/grip panel. The mid-frame attaches to that grip, and the slide to the mid-frame.

It does not assemble like 1911s, where there's simply a slide attaching to a lower frame, and then grip panels attaching to the lower frame.

Although I don't know for sure, I don't see why the Shooter's Design grips wouldn't fit the WE. There may be some minor modifications involved if a dimension or two are off.

He's right. 2011s are "three piece" pistols. Which is nice for RS, but not so nice for airsoft.

From what I've seen, TM 5.1s and WE 5.1s aren't much different... Give it a shot. Let us know.
