Quick Question About Cheapie

I have one of those cheap m4s i got for 70$, the gearbox broke,(the rail on the piston snapped right off.) Are there replacement gear boxes i can buy for it? Its a cheap little gun.. but i really enjoyed toying around with it and whatnot. Very nice practice rifle.

pics of the gearbox aren`t available right now due to my cam being in the shop.

Thanks.

Was it a crosman by any chance? Theres pretty much no way to fix it, better off saving up a few hundred for something decent

Clear or black? Is it smaller then real size, like the Tokyo Marui Boys M4?

It is a BOYI, not TM
its real size, came with full RIS, laser, carrying AND vertical handle, retractable stock and flashlight.

Oh, maybe the box can be repaired, but compatibility may or may not be an issue. Grab the piece from the classifieds and try your luck...

Let's put it this way; repairing that gun will cost you more than what the gun is worth. Probably twice the cost.
So your simplest solution is to get age-verified, check the Classifieds, and buy something decent that wont break.
Information on how to do that is in... the Information section and the Regional Representatives thread.

This site has replacement gearboxes. Maybe one of these match yours.

http://www.airsoft-guns-specials.com/absplgere.html

I personally would not bother with it if you ever plan on going to a game. These guns are way under powered. If you just want something for plinking then go for it.
