AEG loading problems MP7A1
Hello all,
IM new in this sport and and recently purcashed a tokyo marui HK MP7A1 after a bag of BBs (the small one that comes with the gun) I noticed that the Mag seems to jam up and the gun shoots missing the bb that didnt load. Is it the spring fubared or is it the hop up system, Any one that has a clue what is going on much help will be appreciated. |

what mag are you using. Mine doesn't feed so well with the TM hi-cap mag but is ok with the short mid caps. Try a different mag.

Im using the stock mag right now, It seemed like the brand new the mag has lots of spring it actually shot out of the mag when you held back the spring not it seems to stick and hold

Are there BBs in the mag? Can you release them manually then you pull back the little switch next to the BB well? (point it away from you, so you don't shoot BBs into your eye or something)
If BBs are inside and won't come out, then something is stuck (and on that note, don't use crapola cheapy BBs, they'll jam in your mags, they'll jam your in your barrel, they'll use up the last piece of toilet paper and not change the roll, they just aren't worth it). You can try knocking it free, or try unjamming it by sticking something down the BB well (like a small jewelers screwdriver. Again, be cautious so it doesn't fly out and hit you in the eye when it unjams. If your mag empties okay, then the problem is somewhere on the gun and you'll have to do more checking to find out what's going wrong.

Thanks Drake,
Im using metal tech BBs, The Weird thing is the stock TM BBS seemed to load and and when I Pull back that little switch thingy they shoot out and with the last batch of bbs they seem to not want to shoot out like you mentioned. |

Do the last few just fall out?
its cause the spring is in higher compression when its full of bb's then near the end the spring is almost at rest so it has less tension to push the last few bb's out of the mag |

ok let me try again. When i load up the Mag if you pull back the switch the whole batch will shoot out. In my mag when i load it up it seems like the first few will shoot out, then a few will dribble out, then jams. if i bang it, it loosens it up and works for a few then repeats it self. To me it seems like the spring gets jammed up or something?

the stock TM mp7 mags are commonly "sticky" when they come out of the box. Everyone of mine has had issues just as you are describing.
Give the mag a little squirt of lube and load the mag up and empty it with the switch a few times and you should be good to go. |
