Highly irregular shots and/or low fps. Visual examination for tears and asymmetrical features.

Take out your hopup and barrel assembly, remove the C Clip, remove barrel from hop up and the bucking is on the end of the barrel, if theres any tears, warps, mishape in it, or if its over dry, good chance its done for, otherwise apply a bit of light weight silicone oil on it, and re insirt it to the hopup.

I was told Classic Army buckings are really crappy. Since this is the new CA25 (comes with 410fps-420fps stock), any chance the bucking could be X_X
The gun seems to only have a precise range of 60 feet... REALLY wierd. Or is it the 0.25 TM bb's that is doing that? (0.30g Maxi BB's on their way). |

My MP5s have a range of 200ft with a good 2-3ft grouping using 0.28g BBs. I'd say your rubber broke, just wait nine months and your AEG will be the least of your worries.

Ok i have taken my gun appart and i found nothing wrong with the bucking or hop-up unit (both had no holes or cracks, and the c ring was installed properly). I re-installed everything, charged up the battery and the gun shoots just a bit better than before. But its still limited to 55-65 feet of range...
What else could be wrong? At this point i'm thinking theirs a leak inside the gearbox (grrrr brand new gun). Since i don't have any experience with the gearbox, am i better off to drop it at a gun doc? Recommend anyone in the Montreal region? Thx |

so is it shooting at 410 fps but only going 60 feet?
But im assuming the fps is down and you are only shoot short. You might be losing air pressure in the cylinder. try pumping the piston into the cylinder to check if it has the right seal. Sounds to me its a air leak somewhere. |

It's suppose to shoot at 410-420fps but i'm pretty sure its not. I can barely peirce cardboard at 50 feet. And it has a range of something like 55-65 feet (and not that accurate like the BB's struggle to get there).

Just a thought.... the battery that came with it is a... Sanyo 1300mAh 8.4V Large Type Battery, could that be the problem for a CA25?
