Mp5 Click

Well I just got my Mp5 today in the mail whent to shoot it , and went bang twice and now all it will do is click ? If i Back off the motor it will spin , but will not fire it almost looks like the previous owner had the wires hooked up backwards it went to red on the gun to black on the battery.

Any Ideas

Could be impropper shim job, could be something is lose inside causing a jam problem. Could also be reverse polarity, so make sure the wires are connected to the motor correctly.

I just tested the motor spins good and gear is in great shape , I can figure out how to open the mech box to look inside ...All I know is there sure is allota electrical tape used and no Fuse it seems.

Are you sure the battery has enough charge to turn over the mechabox?

+1 to that and it sounds like the wiring job is crap, that could also be the cause, not enough solid power flow

Obviously this is the problem. If you are sure the polarity is now correct from what it was previously it could mean that the antireversing latch has seized on the bevel gear. My $0.015

if it was wired incorrectly (ie the motor was spinning backwards) it would not have fired twice. take it to a local gun doc. I've seen other AEGs that have been re-wired with the wrong colours.

I vote for dead battery, or if opened up, reversed motor wires.
