What spring are you using when it gets stuck?

Guarder SP90
Maybe try a higher voltage batt. I could lend u my 8.4v if u wanna test it.
I thought you picked up a whole new Guarder Cylinder + Piston kit? Ur not using them?
When did you get a prometheus MS100? :s

i was using the stock CA spring when it got stuck. (280-320 fps with 0.2s i believe)
seems like something is not running smoothly and the spring is not powerful enough to push through it..
but er.. i checked and checked.. i am not sure what to look for with this weird problem.

where did you get Guarder SP90 from?
i got Prometheus MS100 from the very beginning....
i just changed it back to the stock one for zombie game and it screwed up on me

i could try 8.4v... but i am not sure how that would "solve" the problem
i want to find what what went wrong.. and prevent it from happening again.

Well considering your AEG is rated for 8.4v minimum, the motor may not be getting the proper amount of juice to pull the piston back far enough to release the spring.

Try the 8.4v battery first. Using a 7.2v battery isn't too efficient for your motor and actually ends up drawing more current than an 8.4v battery will.

Sometimes when you dont have enuff juice, it doesnt have the strength to pull the piston + Spring back after a certain point. So itll pull the piston back as far as it can, and then come to a stop. Because the Half tooth gear cant complete its full cycle, it doesnt release the piston. That is my Assumption anyways based on what you told me. 8.4v batt would solve that problem if that is the case by giving enuff juice to cycle completely.

Also if your Spring Guide is anything like my Guarder one, the washers on the end add a few FPS to the spring, making it a little harder to pull the spring back.

Edit: Basically what Illusion Said XD

I got 2 8.4 1600ma batts, itll fit your fullstock easy. since both my Primarys are down and my pistol doesnt use batts, you can use them both for the zombie game.

The Spring Guide may have had something to do with it. Your batt could also be low

A SOLUTION!

i found out why my piston was doing that. and i feel like an idiot now.

when i test fired, i place my finger gentle over the nozzle to soften the piston & cylinder head impact (as i heard its very bad to test fire without a barrel & bb).
so therefore my stock spring was not powerful enough to push air out of the cylinder before the gear goes around again. (even though it was on semi.)
therefore it now works with my stock spring and everything. just no finger over the nozzle

My ICS would do this with its Stock, or upgraded spring, only solution is a stronger battery... I had to custom a 10.8V myself, and that just works with the Stock lol.

Two things about M4/M16 series:

Don't screw the pistol grip or buffer tube on *too* tight. It will pull the gearbox back too much and cause weird problems such as:
- Feeding problems
- *PISTON LOCKUPS*
