Motor adjustment plate and rewiring TM M4

Hey all, i've just aquired a used TM M4 and it would appear the guy i bought it from has lost the motor adjustment plate anywhoo, do you think a washer from crappy tire would do the trick? If someone could give me the dimentions then i might be able to bore one out if its too small. I couldn't find one separately on ASCA or anywhere else domestically.

Also, the mechbox is orignally an M16 box not an M4, what is required to rewire to the back? anything fancy other than running the wires to the rear? (planning on putting a full stock on later)

Thanks in advance.

Just running the wires to the rear will do the trick mechbox wise.

In regards to the motor plate, if you have been looking at a madpul miad grip, they don't require a motor plate, so food for thought

Think you have it backwards there. If it was originally for an M16 which employs a full-stock, naturally it'd be wired to the back. If it were an M4, it'd be wired to the front to accomodate a collapsable stock.

I know it should be wired to the rear, but this is the first time i've had an armalite open, so i'm not sure if the wiring is correct. I'll have a look around and see if i can find some pics of each. As far as the motor plate goes, i'll look into said grip.
