M15A4 firing issue (possibly gears)

Sorry to be so vague about my post but i have no clue what im doing, I would remove the mechbox but i dont even know how to get the fucking body pins out. So heres whats up, at the end of our last game, the AEG started to sound funny, like something was off. I was told to tighten the motor tension screw slightly. Seemed to work.

Today i got some new parts (external) so i put them on the body, and went to go zero my optics. The AEG sounded funny again so slightly adjusted the screw again. Went on firing and adjusting the optics when the gun made a sick crack/pop noise. Uhh oh, I fired again to see what was up. Seemed fine. Tried again and then it started...

SYMPTOMS___________

- Spring and piston no longer contract/expand
- Fire Selector will no longer move to single or auto (very little movement from safe)
-Motor Gears are in one piece.
-no visible metal shavings.
-Battery fully charged and functional.
-connections are fine.
- STAGE 1 SOUND: As soon as the incident occured, the AEG made a sick whine, as if stepping on a cat. "RIIIIIAAIAAARRRR!"
- STAGE 2 SOUND: After loosening the Retention screw, and removing the motor and inspecting for damage, the gun seems jammed. It simply attempts a cycle. "whir" on every trigger pull.

Im gonna guess and say that the gears are jammed by something blocking the trigger group. What i dont know. I have a gun doctor but id like to order new mechbox parts. What if any suggestions do i need to get for parts? Or any other Diagnosis?

I suggest finding that m4 takedown guide, this would be a nice opportunity for you to learn how to get that mechbox apart, mechbox.com can help you with the internals. So you can do your own repairs/upgrades in the future!

You can do it. Be patient and remember, the money you saved on a mechanic can now be spent on parts, hehe

So will it make any difference on the fact that this is a 7mm CA mechbox? It might be mounted different?

7mm is just the bushing diameter, take down of the mechbox is the same as any other armalite.

its easy if you pay attention to the video and keep a part take down picture handy. if you find a guide to show you how to get your mech box out that is even better.

just think logicly when you do it.

i did all my upgrades (including hylical gears) and fired over 3000+ rounds on them just fine. i constantly switch spings so i get the oppertunity to check wear on the parts though.
