G&P G36 extentable buttstock

Hello,

I'm thinking about getting the G&P G36 extentable stock. I know that I'm supposed to run the wiring to the back of the gun, but do not know precisely how it's done.

Anyone has any experience installing it? Or any useful picture/website? Please let me know.

Thanks.

You clip a connector to wires in the front of the mechbox and run them out over top of the mechbox and into the stock. Unlike with ver.2 mechboxes guns you don't rewire the mechbox but just have to redo the wiring. A wiring kit comes with the butt stock from G&P.

haha, no. Ive tried it both ways and the v stock is much better. the wirring is simple to do, my only problem doing it was removing the original stock (never discovered the screw on the bolt that holds it in place) Also as a note, when you reassmeble the gun, try to run the wirring along the right hand side of the gearbox if possible, that way it doesnt conflict with the ejection port

Ya I agree. If you ever have a AEG die on you in the middle of a firefight, youll wish you had a large battery. Also with a large battery its okay to forget to charge it before a game. If you have a high mah your battery should last for a few days of gaming. Depending on how much you like to shoot

My last game was in December when it was -4, fully exposed the RAS, and it still has power. I have no probs with big batteries, but i find it detracts from the authenticity. id only put the stock on if i also had the KV mag release and carrying handle.

Thanks for the photos Slick. Thats a badass effin setup you have. I'm thinking of getting a nade launcher I like the Mesquito Molds PEQ-2 Mini. The other one that I thought would look nice has been discontinued...

The stock looks great on the 36K. I am using mine for CQB and I don't think it would look right. Mine will be limited to 350fps anyways so I'll be fine with carrying two mini 9.6V batteries.
