The ACU IBA isn't a copy of the newer IBA design and I've never seen a real MARPAT IBA only CB..... Why did Guarder even bother with these?

Because not everyone cares that much about being accurate with their kits. I mean not everyone is trying to re-enact some specific military unit.

That and it's going to be a lot cheaper and easer to find thes ones then real ones.

Ok Brakoo, the proper response to that point is 'why the heck would anybody bother with an IBA if they weren't worried about accuracy to modern US forces gear?' It's not exactly the best piece of armor out there, nor is it the least expensive.

Actually, Paraclete did make a Marpat replacement cover for the IBA at one point. You see some floating around sometimes, I think mostly collectors and airsofters picked them up.

And speaking of replacement covers, all things considered given the price of the Guarder vests, after factoring in shipping from HK it's almost the same price as a real replacement cover shipped from the US.

I like the idea of the ACU one, but for the Marine look I would stick with the CB version. Cool they options though.

They come in those colors so that you get positive id of an Airsofter, especially when pics get posted online. It makes it easy for the circle jerker's over on Lightfighter.net to spot and post up in a thread to make fun of. Apparently it's been getting too hard to distinguish Airsofter's lately, and heck, dem' boyz down dere don't wanna be makin fun of no reel steeler...
