TM Desert Eagle Leaking Mag
Ok, I can fully fill my DE mag and sometimes the gas will shoot out the top end of the mag and sometimes it will stay in. I can shoot 1 mag and be out of gas. If I fill the mag I can hear the gas seeping out of it. My other mag I can hear the gas seeping out but I can only fire 5 rounds out of it because it will be out of gas. I bought this gun with 2 mags for $68 and the gun fires fine, but the mags rarely work. The guy I bought them from lived in Montana, where its cold, so he rarely used this. I dont know if there is a broken seal or something is just not tight enough. Can someone help me out on fixing my mags?

I'm guessing this is the Marui from your sig. What type of gas are you using? HFC-134a as spec'd by Marui or something a little more powerful?

The owner was using HFC-134a, and he was saying how it would leak also. I am using propane.

Depending how he was using HFC-134a could be the problem. 2 ways you can do it. You can either buy "shooting air" type which will be impregnated with silicone oil to keep all the seals and parts lubricated. This is usually sufficient for the gun and mags.
Or you can by off-the-shelf tetraflouroethane (duster gas) and use that. But then you'd have to inject some silicone into the mag every few mags to keep the works lubed. If this has been done and couple that with a long while with the gun unused will result in dried out seals in the mags. This can be remedied by removing the seals and soaking them overnight in lightweight pure silicone oil (10 weight or less). Then once the seals have absorbed some silicone, they will have swelled a bit and you can re-install them and all should be fine. An alternative to silicone is Dow Corning #55 o-ring lube. It does exactly the same thing, but is much more expensive and a tube of that will last your decendants for decades. But do not use it in contact with plastic parts as some plastics will break down from the solvents used. Silicone is safe for everything. Propane in warm weather will exert significantly more pressure than duster, about 1.5 times or better. If the temp is 90 degrees or higher, I wouldn't use propane. The plastic components of the gun will be susceptable to breaking, especially the slide.

Ok thanks. Yes I live in Texas and its 105F here everyday. Yeah I use the silicone oil, but I still think the o-rings or something needs to be lubed. Do you know if there is a guide to disissambling the mag?

Not specifically for the Eagle that I'm aware of, but I'm sure someone has a tutorial or something out there.
Basically you need to remove the fill valve and outlet valve with blade screwdrivers and drive out the pins holding the main outlet seal housing and the mag bottom plate. The seals are pretty visible at this point. Then soak them and re-assemble.
