Looking for a RAV replica

Hey, well I'm looking for a Phantom RAV replica vest. They have them at redwolf and somone on ASR told me that it came with a few pouches. Is this true? Also, I asked Mark at AA and he said that he can import some. How much do you think the price would be in CAD from him? The vest is 109USD at redwolf, with 60-80USD shipping. And one more thing, would you get this instead? It's an Infinity Tactical Chest Rig. Supposedly the best chest rig under $100.00 and I think it looks badass. http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums...p?topic=3928.0

What do you think?

ASC Armoury had a bunch last I checked... My oppinion, get a real vest or chest rig. I've had and seen the repro CIRAS's and RAV's and own a real CIRAS... absolutly no comparison... the knock offs look and feel like cheap knockoffs.

no, but for a fraction of the cost, the phantom stuff is nice enough for most of us.

Well you need to remember that I am only 13 years old. I am just buying my gear and other stuff to get prepared early. I will post my current loadout later. Thanks for the links guys. Does the RAV come with the pouches? Or is the guy on ASR lying to me?

Oh, thats not good. The guy said it comes with 'A nice assortement of pouches' Well, I plan on getting this for Christmas. Are there any sort of "deals" that include a nice assortement of pouches? Not with the vest, but something that you would buy and it would be a pack with necassary pouches (ie. mag pouches, dropleg, canteen holder, radio pouch ect.)? Thanks.

No, and you're still 13.

Can I ask you a small favour? Please?....

....Stop breathing my air. There're people who can put it to better use than you.

Your telling me that I cannot buy this vest because there are other people who need it? I really don't give a damn.

No, you can buy the vest, I don't care. But it doesn't come with pouches, unless a specific retailer has put together a package. And what I said was you're still 13, so you won't even be able to think about playing on any fields for another 3 years, more likely 5, so it's kind of a moot point, since it won't be much use to you for a while. I told you to stop breathing the same air as me. Pay attention, read what's there, not what you want to see.

You're going to buy a piece of kit to sit in your closet for 5 years until you're old enough to buy an AEG?

It may not even fit you anymore by the time you can use it.

Jesus Christ, why do people on these forums need to critisize me when I ask a question? Why don't you just answer it, I don't really care what your opinion on my buying this vest is at my age. I have my own uses for it. So just answer the question, because telling me that I am too young for it won't stop me from getting it. Thanks.

Ah yes, another sign of angry teenager that says I can't sit and wait for 5 yrs before I can play.

We are criticizing you because you keep intending to break the rules that are in place. We criticize you because you don't read. We criticize you because you're ignorant saying what you're doing isn't illegal. We criticize your decision because everyone here thinks it's stupid to buy a vest when you're 13 and chairsoft until you're 18. We criticize you because that's what we do here to angry teenagers who keeps whining.

You keep this attitude up, you're not going to be around for long, and probably won't be welcomed even when you turn 18.

Anyway, I still don't see a point to buying a vest now for basement plinking. In a few yrs, your $200-300 vest will become too small for you and becomes a total waste of money. But then again, you're still too young to fully understand the concept of money.

also.. in 5 yrs .. new vests will come out ... new vests come out ever year o_O
so what you use now will probably be crap compared to something you could buy once you are old enough.
