RCMP Sniper Camo

Thought this was an interesting pattern. This was taken from the G&M. Caption read that it was an RCMP sniper. It would be pretty effective in specific areas, especially during autumn. The way the top layer is cut in the shapes of leaves is really unique.

It's nice also because it breaks up his outline, but it's not so shaggy like a ghillie to get stuck on everything under the bloody sun.

French snipers use the same kind of ghillie. They are pretty awsome.

I have a nice Leshij suit that is scarey cool. Also ... a little pricey. I feel extremely dumb wearing it when I'm just standing around, though.

But if you're into this sort of thing, a lot of hunting supplies stores carry a suit like that. Hunters that use archery are crazy into camo suits. One that's on sale or used should cost around 60 bucks. A brand new, top of the line type can creep towards 200 (mostly because they have a lot of features that you wouldn't need for airsoft - like 'scent supression').

A few guys around here have used this stuff - it's commonly called "leafoflage", but I couldn't tell you who makes it. Works OK at range in the boreal forests of Manitoba in the spring and fall, not so good in the deep greens of summer.

that works great in the fall or where there are alot of leaves in the summer, depends on the areas you are in.
