M4 handgaurd gap

Well, i have a TM m4, that i just took the stock outer barrel off, bought the G&P 1 piece hard outer barrel, installed using the TM delta ring. Now, i have the front site put on, and when i try to put the m4 handgaurds back on, theres almost a cm gap between the delta ring and the handgaurds, they wont touch. Do i need the G&P delta ring set? or G&P handgaurds? or what could my problem be, i can get pics if needed.

Puttin' a little 2 n' 2 together here, I'd say G+P have a different preset for where they notch their barrel. Measure it up against your TM and see if the grooves for the front sight pins aren't a little further forward.

I was thankful personally for this difference because it allowed me to fully flip down a PDI style folding FS with an ARMS SIR hand gaurd in place. With the Marui measurements, the flip would hang up on the hand-gaurd half-way down.

FWIW, G+P makes a nice delta-ring. It works a lot better than a stock Marui one for holding a barrel tight to a body, and can pass a gas tube through it to boot.
