New Ballistic goggles/glasses
Well, I broke my Wiley-X's while I tripped walking up the stairs (I was holding them and they landed badly and broke) which makes me a moron, but at the same time I wasn't getting the performance I wanted from them and so now I'm just forced to get some new eyewear.
I am very interested in the Wiley-X glasses that don't seal to the face, but still offer good protection. I know a lot of fields won't let you play with them on, and honestly I've never actually worn a pair. I was wondering if anyone has worn them (or anything similar) and how possible/likely it'd actually be to get a BB in the eye? I would assume they'd have less fogging problems than goggles which is a big plus for me as it seems I'm always having problems with that. Has anyone ever heard a story about anyone taking a BB in the eye with them? My second choice that I'm considering is the Bolle T800's. I hear that if you don't have right facial structure you won't like them and therefore to try them on, which I would do before I purchased. But what I'm more concerned about is fog, like I said, I seem to have fog problems all the time. Anyone with any first hand experience with them care to comment? I've searched online for reviews and haven't really been able to find what I was looking for. I appreciate any help anyone can offer! Thanks in advance!

I used to use ballistic glasses that didnt fully seal untill rules forced me to use goggles.
I sweat alot during a game, and Im usually so fogged that I cant see before I even leave the staging area. Then I got the T800 and its like they arnt even there. Heavey sweat, foggy days, even raining days...they stay so clear you can hardley tell they are there. |

Check out the new Wiley Nerve goggles. Still seals to your faces but vented big time.
I hate my issue Revision, they give me a head ache after 5 minutes.

I concur with Farmboy... check out Wiley-X's Nerve goggles. Best damn goggles I've used. When moving, you can feel the ventilation flowing through the goggles. It's also really low profile, allowing you to use iron sights if you need to. It also fits under helmets, caps, boonies, etc. well.
I've used it during this past weekend's game in 40 degree temperature. Sweating like no tomorrow, it didn't fog up once. Although it's still somewhat new, so the anti-fog coating may have played a part, but the Nerve goggle is still well ventilated. It's also full seal and it's quite comfortable. I'm also in the process of writing a review for it.

If you're concerned with fogging, there's only one guaranteed solution: ESS TurboFan Goggle. They're simply the best things out there for anti-fog goggles.

if you're looking at ballistic glasses, check out the ESS ICE glasses, they're great glasses, and very inexpensive compared to other models

I'm actually selling a pair of ESS goggles right now, used once. Asking $50 without shipping. They're not ICE, but I thought I'd offer. You can view them here

I sprang for the TurboFan model. They should arrive tomorrow. They're pretty sweet, but cost over twice as much as what I'm selling. There's nothing wrong with them, if that's what you're asking
