Needing Help Fast w/ FAMAS F1

Hey guys. My bro just got a FAMAS F1 in from Tru and while I am writing this, he is currently trying to figure out the prob with the gun. He opened the box with absolutely no problems at all until he shot it. The gun now doesnt function and the trigger is making a clicking sound. We have absolutely no clue whats going on and we are not airsoft mechanics. Please, your help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hmm...
Flip to Auto, keep the trigger down for a second, and then if it starts firing put it back to Semi and try again. That's what I did, it worked fine after.
If you haven't charged your battery, try doing that.

It's not a lemon when you open a gun, mess around with the internals, put it back together improperly and it doesn't work. That's called user stupidity.

well, it clearly can't be my stupidity if I have just fixed it. Thanks Bob the Angry Potato for the suggestion, it worked great but I don't think I'll use the single very often just to be safe. Oh, and when he said "opened," that ment opening the box! I'm not a dumbass, I work on things I know how to fix

Maybe "he" should say what he means, then, instead of making the rest of us guess at what he means. Opening the gun and opening the box are two completely different actions. :-|

Ah, OK. You're welcome, glad to see that it was fixed. Mine does it too, however after the first time it hasn't seized up on Semi-Auto at all, save once (and it was fixed the same way).
Anyways, this is really off-topic, but does your gun creak when you use it? It's not broken now, but I can help you fix it with only a small cost on your part- the cost for a screwdriver (if you don't have one) and some tape. Simple procedure, to say the least.

it doesn't creak from what I can hear, but my battery moves around a bit.

Hmm... OK.
Well, that's suprising... the plastic-on-plastic made a lot of creaky sounds for me, yet the battery didn't wobble around at all.

He won't notice the creaks until he's stealthing around trying to sneak up on someone... that's how I noticed it on mine
