Full auto on Semi issue, With 11.1.

I just bought a G&G M14 EBR with a Gate NanoAB.

It runs perfect on a 7.4 lipo, But with a 11.1, Semi runs at full auto.

Any suggestions are appreciated

Could be the motor isn't strong enough for the breaking to stop the motor, altho on semi it is mechanical cutoff if could be the cutoff lever is having a hard time disengaging the trigger shuttle thing.
Perhaps just run it on a 7.4 until you need to repair or replace something the sort it out?

Sounds like the increased voltage is cycling the gearbox faster than the contact shuttle can get into position to be kicked out by the cutoff lever. The cutoff lever then sticks on top of the shuttle causing full auto until the trigger is released and shuttle resets
Currently happening in my m1 garand (m14 ver.7 gearbox)

AB will stop a ferrite magnet motor wired for high speed while moving heavyweight triple torque gears. Regardless, if the motor was braking, it would mean the signal was cut, which means the trigger is no longer engaged. It's not physically possible for it to continue shooting if contact was broken.

Actually just fixed this similar problem on someone's gun last night, issue was the cutoff lever not functioning properly.
Once the cutoff lever breaks the trolley from the contacts, there's no more signal. Once there's no more signal, the mosfet brakes the motor. It's not possible to turn the signal back on until you release the trigger, pickup the trolley, and squeeze again.
So the issue is contact is not being broken, therefore; cutoff problem.

would say it's most likely the cutoff lever. If after confirming it's functioning properly, it will be overspin as the next issue, or the contacts pinching the shuttle too tightly.
