Maybe you should state how much you even want to spend. Plate carriers can cost anywhere from $100-$400. No plate carrier comes with plates you either have to get the Toy Soldier SAPI Plates or Fill it with foam.

Just about every manufactuer has a plate carrier or has vest or chest rigs that take plates.

you can buy real sapi plates if you like. one of the guys on our team just bought some in arizona a month ago. they are multiple hit level IVa and i think they run abot $5500 u.s. per pair and they're freakin' heavy. or you can buy fake plates from places like uncompany for about $100 or so. or if you have access to industrial rubber belting about 1 inch thick, make your own.

Here is another place to look at plate carriers

http://www.oneshottactical.com/merch...tegory_Code=CR

But like said above, almost every company makes them, all a little different.

You could always fill the fake plates with something, if you crave more weight.

ILLusion got some fake SAPI plates in stock.
For 60$/pair that's the best solution you will find.

Did you look at Blackhawk Industries? I have their Plate Carrier and Commando Recon Harness Husky and those are both great. The plate carrier stores a plate front and back, and the recon harness stores a plate in the front only.

Well thanks for tellimg WERE i can get plates ! but i was not specific enough in my post !

What i want to know is : shoulder strap are made of what sort of foam

and with the plate carrier you got to put the plate inside and is there any pad or stuff ihat is making this fel a littel softer, or it's like wearing sone plate made of wood or steel !

Merci

They're all made differently. Some have 1/4" foam in the shoulder straps, others are just webbing. The BHI models generally have foam between the body and the carrier, on the inside of the rig where it would make contact with your body.

They're not always comfortable, but remember the purpose. For my buck, I find the BHI husky recon harness with the add-on rear plate carrier to be quite comfortable.

Damn skippy. Expensive at $190 CAD with shipping but worth the price IMO.
