Problem with my Umarex G36K
I recently begun to have problems with my Umarex G36K. It has been working flawlessly for months. Now this.
When it is set to semi, it will fire correctly for a dozen or so shots, then it will burst off two shots , then after a few of those three shots, then after a few of those it will stop al together. Quickly setting the selector to safe or full auto, then back to semi starts the progression again. No issues running if full auto, only semi. Any ideas where to start with fixing this?

I would imagine this would stem from vibration related to the selector plate/cam and how it meets the selector lever inside - possibly a worn selector cam or a broken/bent selector plate. G36 selector plates are flimsy and prone to flexing.
This can be fairly easily diagnosed/ruled out by extracting the mechbox from the lower and manually observing whether or not the selector plate moves as the gun is fired.

Or perhaps a worn cutoff lever.
