king arms vn ar mags not fitting

Ok I got a 5 pack of KA ar 85rd midcaps for my VFC m16. However these do not fit (the mag catch won't lock the mags in) I have tried to mod one mag and had no luck at all in getting the damm mag to fit. Has anyone modded these mags to fit a VFC if so what did you do to get these to fit?

Any help would be appreciated

Does the catch lock them in if you manually press on it when the mag is inserted? How much wobble do you have?

No wobble and no the catch won't lock them even if pressed while mag is inserted.

I'm probably going to get crucified for saying this, but if you remove you mag catch and twist it ever so slightly so the part that catches the mag is slightly facing downwards, it can help catch stubborn magazines. Just don't do it too much or the release won't slide freely in the receiver.

Do they lock in other VFC's? I have a feeling it's your gun possibly...

Never had problems with the MAG branded ones, but they are cheap plastic.. so don't expect to much from them. I abuse AEG mags when I can, since I usually run gas :P

I would get a set of the g&p ones from airsoftparts. They are 110 end mids, and I use them in my snow wolf Barrett's mag she'll, my it's g33, and my g&g m4
