Need help buying cheap gun
I need a 120$ or less bb gun because I'm just starting out now with my friends and we don't have enough money for nicer guns.
Looking online I've found 2 companies that sell low priced guns. Lancer tactical and lucid airsoft. I was wondering how long would one of these guns last? |

They are likely cheap toys and not even airsoft guns. A "cheap" airsoft gun is $200 - $300 not including BBs, magazines, batteries, a battery charger, etc. Also you'll need proper eyewear and whatnot. Expensive airsoft guns are $1,500, $2,000, $3,000, and up.
For bottom line reliability, I'd recommend, as well as many members here, the King Arms Colt M4. Reliably built with a good price point at $250 or so, not including the other things I mentioned. Save up some more money, if you but cheap crap it'll break down right away, it won't shoot properly, there may not be proper upgrades for it etc. In order for us to tell you or show you where to buy anything airsoft, you need to be age verified on here. Find an AV'r near you using the "regional representative" portion of the forums.

Buy cheap....buy twice. Airsoft isnt hugely expensive but you need to be able to spend a lil more than $120 Get age verified it will open up some doors for some decent deals here.

Hope your not planning on playing in your backyard or local woods, chances are its illegal in your area and well may not end well for you and your friends. Save up and get something decent like a King Arms it will have better resale value if you find your not into airsoft.

Fill in your location so we can better point you to a local retailer or field to get you started.
To echo what everyone else is saying. If you buy cheap you will spend a small fortune sending your gun to the shop for repairs. Do not buy a sniper rifle Buying a intermediate or midrange brand to get started is how most people here got started. Some good brands to look out for. Airsoft is an amazing hobby, but for me (and many others I believe) an expensive one.
If all you can afford is $120, you might want to wait until you have more cash because a $120 anything is going to be more frustration than fun. |
