WE AK74u broken recoil spring

hi everyone,

i've broken my we ak74u recoil spring with a chip of wood stuck in it. When I fired (not knowing the wook chip was there) the spring strech in some places and squezed in an other place.

sadly my internet skills didn't pay against all hope and I can't fin any web site having this specific part.

do you guys know any places where I can find a we ak recoil spring?

or

any mod part that would fit properly, replacing the original one?

Recoil springs for WE AK, SCAR and G36 will fit and function.

Actually, the stock spring from a SCAR is stronger than the stock one in the AK, resulting in a higher rate of fire.

ok, there seems to be no recoil spring suitable for any WE GBBR on the internet... EXCEPTION MADE for the we m4 which is basicaly sold pretty much anywhere. (I hope someone will point out a web site out of the reach of my skills)

do someone know if they are compatible?

I also have another question. if this part:

a RA-TECH Recoil spring summer type (and the winter version)

will fit on a we ak74u because on the web site there is no information about model compatibility other than a vague : For INO 、WA、WE

If it says it's for INO, WA, and WE, chances are they're for the M4 GBBR.

For any person interested in this thread, I was finally able to reach someone at WE for parts info...

I didn't write my process step by step because it was kind of long and uneven.

so basicaly the company who sold many WE pieces and parts is :

for WE parts, it is needed to make a special order so you must contact the seller directly.

In my process I strongly suggest that you first make contact with WE-tech on there site because they said I needed to make follow our e-mails exchange to armed force HK to make proper order.

that said, I think this process may work for other parts, under the only reserve that I've not tested it with other parts than the recoil spring.

i'll edit to let you know about further developments about if yes or no the package will make it to my doorstep...

(EDIT) : the package arrived minutes ago, with the spring in it and fully secured in bubble wrap... so I guess that's a win but you need to know i've choosed the express post service so if you take normal/boat/ground shipping it may be long... this said, i'm happy, hope this helped some.
