Range of Puxing 888-D?

As the title states, does anyone know what the range of the Puxing 888-D is?

I looked at some websites, but they say like 5 km.... for such a touted radio in the airsoft community I would think it would have more range then a blister pack radio that advertises ranges of over 50km....

Solid 5 k , in heavy woods with broken terrain, and hills, I run mine in low power, and have never had any circumstance of poor reception by the receiver.

Pretty much every Airsoft field there is around here is less than 1km end to end.

I have used blister pack radios to transmit for 10 k before, but I was on a mountain at the time.. With unobstructed line of sight.

You may get a signal from a blister PAC radio for a very long distance but a readable transmission is another thing altogether.

So a solid transmission of 5km... so then I guess it can be longer if you have an unobstructed LoS?

Thanks!
