Kjw m9 elite help
Hello! Randomly when i was shooting my practically brand new kjw m9, it started to shoot a shot, then lock the hammer half way back. i would have to do a full trigger pull for it to shoot again, also when i shoot i see lots of gas escaping out the barrel. is this a mag thing? cause it happens with both my brand new mags. Or is it something wrong with the gun?

are u shooting in the cold or indoors?
Are you filling the mag with gas properly Is the propane tank almost empty? Is the slide rails lubed and such Does the slide move freely by hand with the mag in?

Indoors, the propane tank is brand new cause i originally figured it was that. Im filling them all the way, i fill it for a long time. And the slide moves fine in my hand

And the escaping gas is comming out of the end of the barrel? Cause that should shoot a bb. Do you mean the side of the barrel like the ejection port?
If its the side it could be the blow back chamber or nozzle is loose or cracked

The end of the barrel, it shoots the bbs still, it just locks the hammer back and it wont fire more then one in a row, sometimes i can get more shots in before. but when it fires once the slide loads the new bb, instead of the hammer being all the way back, its locked at 70 degrees. So i have to pull the trigger all the way again. and this usually lets out alot of gas out the end

so the screw that holds the "block"that the blue part slide in and out of is tight? tha comes loose and can cause those symptoms or the blue peice can be cracked or the piston inside the blue peice can be out of place or damaged or dryed out if you havent been puttin lube in your propane.
if its not any of those things then im not too sure. i have an old kj m9 vertec ive been runnin for years with no issue besides the screw came loose once or twice and leaky mags other wise its a work horse

seems its something with the bbu,
when you say lubed it you mean you poured a bit of oil into the bbu (in the blue thing)? with the slide of if you use yer finger to move the blue bit back n forth can you see the piston head thing inside is it sitting flat and mooving freely? seems it is damaged or dryed out or sticking if it worked when lubbed then stopped after the lube was all blown out then the piston (its baisically just a rubber piston head) is prolly dryed out or damaged and the lube fills in the gaps for a short time. lets see if anyone else has input im no gun doc per say but i work on my own guns and have seen theese symptoms befor but they wer an easy fix for me (tighten the screw)

10 mags without putting oil in the gas? also things do wear out if it is the piston thing its an easy fix if you can find the part

i have a kjw taurus m9 cybergun model and after awhile part #24 broke in the blow back unit. The blue nozzle slides in and out of this part. it was cracked inside where the safety slots through so for a while it functioned still broken then i started having problems like you mentioned. The first bb would shoot and the slide wouldn't go back full cycle, unless i used a brand new co2 and once the co2 ran out of pressure the slide no longer would kick back and just partially cocked the hammer.
