Converting G36 Stock to M4 Style Stock

Hello all,

I'd like to convert my my G36 to an M4 Style Stock. I'd like to do some Magpul conversions on this gun and going to a Magpul stock is one of them.

I've been able to identify this stock adapter which will enable me to do receiver end conversion on my Ares G36.

However, where I'm getting lost is what else I need? I know I need a buffer tube (recommendations appreciated), but is there anything else I need? It looks like I'll need something to attach it to the adapted, could someone please enlighten me?

Still new at this, so really appreciate the help.

well it all depends on witch magpull stock you want.

a prs will require a full stock buffer tube
a m93 has it own tube incorporated
a UBR also has it's own buffer tube
a CTR/STR/ACS will requier a cabine buffe tube

What Vondnik said.

but the PRS (airsoft/PTS) has it's own tube too.
for the CTR/STR/ACS, any "M4" tube works.

You can mod the adapter you linked to install a battery in the stock if you want too.

Try to buy from Canadian retailers if you can, you'll find that you can always contact the stores directly for faster responses if you have any problems.
That and they are Canadian...
