A couple questions about a retailler
I'm looking to buy from Toronto Airsoft, how do people feel about this retailler?
Answers from experience would be most helpful. Also, how do these guys package their guns for shipping? (I am new to the airsoft scene) |

Toronto Airsoft is one of the major retailers in Canada.
I'm sure they pack their guns well. |

I have bought 2 guns from them along with other accessories and never had any problems

Guns aren't really packaged by them; they come in the boxes and packaging by the manufactures.
But I have nothing but good things to say about Toronto Airsoft, I have about 5 orders done through them including 3 guns. |

I have made 13 orders from them over the last year or so, I have had one problem which they corrected straight away. Everything I have ordered came within 3 days and they have amazing customer support in my opinion. (some may disagree, but they are always nice to me). And yes guns are packaged from manufacturer, which is usually sufficient.

They're good, but don't buy WE pistols from them.

Few isolated cases of bad experiences (as would happen in any decently large shop) but generally they're good.

I personally haven't had any experiences with them, but one of my buddies has ordered from them before and they sent it to the wrong address, took a very long time to rectify, and offered no compensation for it.

The packing of them is very nice.
From the experiences I had, they will put the factory box (with gun and its own pading) into a larger box, and put styrofoam "peanuts" inside the large box. Protection for the factory box, and double protection for the gun.

Great retailer, good prices (generally speaking of course). No complaints, and I have bought most of my accessories as well as my main AEG from them.
BuyAirsoft.ca (based out of Red Deer) has a good selection; good package deals (they have a good one for a G36 package), but individual AEG, GBBG and accessory purchases are on the pricier side. I wouldn't purchase any tactical gear from these places though as they tend to be a bit over-priced. You're better off looking at surplus distributors and tactical gear retailers (i.e. OpsGear.com).

Since you're new to airsoft and I see you're from Edmonton why not buy locally from Capital Airsoft? That way if you have a problem or questions you can deal with them in person. It would save you some frustration if something does go wrong.
